L Leucine

CAS NO: 61-90-5

L-Leucine is an essential amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. Its chemical formula is C6H13NO2. L-Leucine is one of the three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) along with L-Isoleucine and L-Valine. It plays an important role in muscle protein synthesis and is therefore popular among athletes and bodybuilders. L-Leucine also stimulates insulin secretion, which can help to improve glucose uptake by muscle cells and regulate blood sugar levels. It is found in many protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products, and is also available as a dietary supplement.
